1. How can I be sure my utility bill has been paid?

Your utility payment will be clearly itemized on your bank's monthly account statement.

Go to the Customer Portal

3. How will I know how much my bill is?

We will continue to send you a bill, and it will state the amount that will be deducted from your account.

4. How will my bill be paid?

We will inform your banking institution of the amount due 2 to 3 business days before the due date as shown on your utility bill. The bank will then automatically deduct that amount from your account on the due date or a date of your choosing.

5. Is there a charge for this service?

No, the County will not charge an additional fee for automated payments.

6. What if I have a question about my bill?

7. What if I want to stop the automatic utility bill payment plan or change my banking information?

If enrolled online, you have the ability to stop and change banking information.  

If you originally enrolled in writing (submitted a form or email), at least 5 days before the due date, email Utility Billing, or write us at:

8. What if my account is with a Credit Union or Savings and Loan?

All financial institutions participate.

9. When does the automated utility bill pay take effect?

Please continue to pay your utility bill until notification is made on your bill.
