Title: County Administrator/Clerk
Rhonda has been employed by the Ottawa County Commissioners office for the past 37 years. Effective August 1, 2015, Rhonda become the County Administrator/Clerk.
This position assists in the administration, enforcement, and execution of the policies and resolutions of the Board. She supervises and directs the activities of the affairs of the divisions of county government under the control or jurisdiction of the Board. Attend all meetings of the Board or represent the Board when necessary.
She performs statutory duties of the Clerk of the Board within the guidelines of the ORC; including scheduling, attending and taking minutes of Board meetings. Prepares and submits reports and resolutions for adoption and keeps the Board fully advised on the financial conditions of the county.
Rhonda is also directly responsible for the overall health insurance administration, preparing department budgets, funding reimbursements, and directly involved with the county’s bonds and notes financing.
